About the School:

Prospero Teaching  is recruiting a Geography teacher for a secondary school in Queenstown, South Island. The role will involve teaching Geography under the New Zealand curriculum to grades 9 - 11. The position is a full-time role and will be offered as a fixed-term contract, beginning in January 2027 (Term 1).

This school is an independent secondary school and is easily accessible by public transport. The high standards imposed by this secondary school make it the first choice for parents in the area and it is regularly oversubscribed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Education
• Successfully undergo a certified criminal record check
• Be eligible to work in New Zealand (Working Holiday Visa, Accredited Employer Work Visa, NZ Passport)
• Have two recent professional teaching references covering the last two years
