FIRST NATIONS (NIITSITAPI), MÉTIS and INUIT FACILITATOR – Father Leonard Van Tighem School

We are looking to hire a temporary 35.0 hour per week First Nations (Niitsitapi), Métis and Inuit Facilitator to serve students at Father Leonard Van Tighem School in Lethbridge. This assignment is to commence as soon as possible and terminate December 19, 2025. This is an out of scope position.
The First Nations (Niitsitapi), Métis and Inuit Facilitator supports the implementation of School Division priorities in the area of First Nations, Métis and Inuit education, through the provision of services and supports to students, parents, and staff as members of our Holy Spirit community. Under the leadership of the Director of Religious Education and Coordinator of First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education, but reporting to the school principal, the First Nations (Niitsitapi), Métis and Inuit Facilitator guides both students and staff. They do this by facilitating relationships, responding to student needs, monitoring student progress and achievement, and supporting the integration of First Nations, Métis and Inuit culture, language, and content.
