Substitute Educational Assistants work under the supervision of a certified teacher who retains responsibility for the planning, instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students. As a casual employee, you will assist students in optimizing their learning potential within a variety of educational settings. This support may include behaviour management, curriculum implementation, social skills development, personal care, and physical assistance.
Hourly Rate: $20.54 per hour plus vacation pay.
When filling temporary contracts within the Division, priority consideration is given to individuals currently working as Substitute Educational Assistants.
