Maintenance III - Journeyman Electrician

Position :  Maintenance III – Journeyman Electrician

Location : Hinton Zone

Start Date :  Immediately or upon mutually agreed date
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (8:00am- 4:30pm) inclusive. 
Wage:  $40.80 - $44.80, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement

Summary:

The successful candidate will provide electrical services to the Facilities Department, and works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Facilities.

Duties:

The duties of this position are to include but are not limited to:

• All related general electrical duties
• Maintain Fire Alarm Systems
• Maintain Building Control Systems

Qualifications:

The successful candidate: 

• Alberta Journeyman Certification in Electrical
• Experience with Building Control Systems and Instrumentation would be an asset
• Extensive experience with Roof Top Heating & Cooling units and Boiler Controls
• Computer experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• Physically able to do all aspects of the job
• Must reside or be willing to relocate to Hinton area
