Casual PUF Student Transportation Driver
High Prairie School Division is seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide transportation services for a Program Unit Funded (PUF) student. This part-time position involves transporting one child from their home to school.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up the PUF student from their home residence
- Transport the student safely to their designated school
- Ensure the student is safely secured in the provided car seat prior to departure
- Follow designated route and adhere to all traffic laws and school division transportation policies
- Operate High Prairie School Division fleet vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain punctuality and reliability in daily pickup schedule
- Complete any required daily vehicle inspection checklists
- Report any incidents, concerns, or vehicle issues to the supervisor immediately
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Successful completion of criminal record check including vulnerable sector search
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience working with children
- Understanding of child passenger safety and proper car seat usage

Working Conditions
- Use of High Prairie School Division fleet vehicle (provided)
- Car seat will be provided by the school division
- Monday to Thursday schedule as per the school year calendar
- Weather-dependent travel conditions
- Approximate work time: 120 minutes per day
