Description:
Bremen High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with colleagues, and fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications: - Valid Georgia teaching certification in Special Education
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications: - Willingness to coach athletics or support extracurricular activities is a plus
