Substitute Teacher

Bearspaw Christian School is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers (Guest Teachers) to support our classrooms when regular teachers are away. This is a great opportunity for educators who enjoy flexibility and working with students in a supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher

• Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the teacher

• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment

• Support students academically, socially, and emotionally

• Communicate any relevant classroom information to school staff as needed

• Cover Letter – Clearly identify that you are interested in guest/substitute teaching opportunities. Explain your interest in Bearspaw Christian School and how you will partner with us to achieve our important mission.
• Resume & References – Provide a detailed resume or curriculum vitae showing all education and relevant certifications. Please note your resume must also include:
• •  A) List of References that can be contacted (2 previous work references & 1 pastoral reference)
  •  B) Scanned Copy of Teaching Certificate
• Statement of Faith  – In 500 words or less tell us about your relationship with Jesus. Tell us how He is making a difference in your life today and how that is encouraging you to serve others.
