We are currently recruiting for a Full Time, Probationary, Certified Instructor (Electrician) for a work assignment at Paul Kane High School supporting student learning in CTS Electrical Lab. 

Hours of Work :      30 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full-Time, Probationary      

Hourly Rate:          $28.32 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:

• Must be Alberta-certified tradesperson
• Experience working in a construction trade, working with construction tools, equipment, safety procedures, as well as an aptitude for electrical work is required
• Experience working with students at the high school level is an asset
• Working with students with various learning and behavioural needs is an asset
• First Aid training is an asset
• Experience with providing social, emotional, and behavioural supports is preferred
• A coachable individual who has experience in a team environment 
• Patience, reliability and organizational skills
