0.47FTE Temporary Indigenous Instructional Coach- Teacher

The successful candidate will be a highly effective teacher with a passion for lifelong learning and collaborating with peers. The candidate will demonstrate sound planning, instruction, assessment, and intervention practices and have a strong understanding of Indigenous Ways of Knowing and creating curricular activities with Indigenous content and use relevant learning technologies to help promote student-centered learning. The ability to quickly establish rapport and relationships with others is essential. An aptitude for working with colleagues from Grades K through grade 12 is paramount.

Reporting to the Associate Superintendent of Human Services, the temporary Indigenous Instructional Coach position has a coordinator allowance, as per the collective agreement. The successful candidate will have these key responsibilities:

·          Supporting indigenous families with positive connection with their school.

·          Supporting classroom teachers with creating indigenous content that aligns with curriculum and TQS 5.

This temporary position will commence when a successful candidate is found and will conclude June 26, 2026.
