Position Available for BIOLOGY and CHEMISTRY
Our
English Alberta-certified school is currently seeking to hire a full-time
Biology and Chemistry teacher for the QiLu Sino-Canadian International School
at Qingdao #58 High School in Shandong Province, China. Experience is
beneficial, and applicants must feel confident teaching senior high school,
Grade 12 diploma-level courses.
Applicants must possess a current and valid Alberta teaching license.
We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, passionate, and knowledgeable in the Alberta curriculum. As our staff is small, we value educators who are collaborative and adaptable within a close-knit professional environment.
Teachers are provided with apartments in a beautiful part of the city, within short walking distance of the school. Our teaching hours and schedule allow for ample preparation time and extended lunch breaks. Class sizes are moderate and manageable, with high-performing students motivated to pursue post-secondary studies abroad in Canada, the United States, and Britain.
Our teaching salaries are competitive, and our program operates as one of the top two high schools in the entire province.
This position will begin in the Fall 2026 academic year, and interviews are currently being conducted for immediate hire.
