About the Limestone District School Board

About this position
In Indigenous adolescent care worker is responsible for supporting students at the secondary and elementary level with social, emotional and behavioural issues that interfere with their success in the regular school program.
Duties and responsibilities
Community College Diploma/Degree or University Degree in social science discipline such as Child and Youth Worker, Behavioural Science Technology, Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent combination of University Degree and related work experience
Hold a valid Ontario Drivers' License and access to a vehicle.
Indigenous ancestry
Experience working with indigenous students, familiar and communities Knowledge of local indigenous communities and service providers Knowledge of one or more indigenous languages an asset
