St. Thomas More School, Fairview, Alberta Elementary Generalist
2024-25 School Year
St. Thomas More is recruiting for an Elementary Generalist Teacher starting August 28, 2024 . The position is available for the 2024-25 school year.
The ideal candidate will be an elementary generalist. Assignment will include teaching all subject areas in the Elementary Program of Studies and potentially other assignments in the K-6 environment aligned with the candidate's skill set.
The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience with literacy, numeracy, Indigenous students, and the social and emotional development and mental health of children. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning, and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment, be a team player and be willing to collaborate, communicate, and work well with others.
Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
