The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary teacher at Fox Valley School beginning August 27, 2024 through March 31, 2025. The teaching assignment includes Senior ELA and SST support. Fox Valley School is a K-12 school with 113 students and 9 teachers.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment;
• A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach;
• Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC’s, professionals and community service agencies;
• Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;
• Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
• Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion
• Successful teaching experience or training;
• Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
