We are searching for an energetic, passionate teacher who exemplifies a commitment to physical education and sport to complement our team at J.C. Charyk School, Hanna, Alberta. Our ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of effective teaching strategies and excellent communication skills along with a strong commitment to learning and a willingness to lead an active sports community.
This is a full time (1.0 FTE) probationary position to commence the first day of the 2024-2025 school year. You will be primarily responsible for planning, preparing and delivering physical education in addition to providing guidance and direction for the school’s high performance (athletic pursuit) sports programs. J.C. Charyk School has a rich culture of school sports including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, track and field, archery and more. Other potential courses may be assigned dependent upon applicant’s background and experience.
