Assignment:
- Full-time temporary replacement Colony School principal position
- Grades K-9
- Working as a Colony school teacher/principal at Alix Colony School
- In addition to the teacher salary, the Colony Principal will receive an additional allowance
- Duties to commence on August 28, 2024 and will continue until November 29, 2024
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach the Alberta Curriculum in a multi-graded setting.
- Work collaboratively with the colony leadership and German teacher.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
- Assessment literate
- Experience teaching within colony schools would be considered an asset
- Ability to differentiate instruction to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Effective classroom management
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Experience teaching in a multi-grade classroom would be considered an asset.
