Speech -language Pathologist working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team at a school for students with special needs
Responsibilities include assessment, direct therapy (individual & group), and consultation with school-based team, parents, and other professionals.
Knowledge and interest in the areas of social skills, augmentative and alternative communication, articulation and phonology, literacy, and general language-based interventions recommended
General caseload information: students aged 5-20, diagnoses may include autism, genetic syndrome (Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome etc), learning disability, cognitive disability.
Days of work based on 10 month school calendar (September-June)
School days run 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday, 8:30-12:30 Friday
Salary $57,363-90,633 depending on experience
