Bus Driver - Ponoka (Competition #S1920-1385)

Wolf Creek Public Schools is actively recruiting a school bus driver for a permanent route in Ponoka, Alberta.

• Duties to commence September 3, 2024.
• Must be available to attend the driver start-up meeting on August 27, 2024
• Applicants must have experience driving a school bus
• Valid Class 1 or 2 operators License
• S Endorsement or MELT 2-S as well as a clean drivers abstract and be in good physical health
• Ability to pass an in-house school bus driver evaluation
• First Aid Certification is strongly recommended but can be obtained through WCPS once hired
• As well, the successful candidate must be able to produce a satisfactory vulnerable sector check (Current within six months)

Seniority, familiarity with the route/area, and proximity to the route will be considered throughout the decision-making process.

The successful applicant will be eligible for benefits.

This competition is open to both within and outside of the Wolf Creek School Division.
