NORTHERN LIGHTS SECONDARY SCHOOL, MOOSONEE, ONTARIO
1.0 Technology Education Teacher (Int/Sen) – start date August 21st 2024
Applicants should be qualified teachers in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers with qualifications in Technology Education (Manufacturing / Construction / Transportation or other Skilled Trades) to support curriculum expectations in various courses at the Intermediate / Senior level.
*** Individuals that are Qualified Skilled Tradesperson in the areas of Manufacturing /
Construction / Transportation are encouraged to also apply if they are interested in
becoming a Technology Education Teacher. ***
Applicants should be experienced in a secondary school setting or working with adolescent youth, possess effective instruction, communication and assessment skills, and a demonstrated ability to foster relationships in support of student well-being.
The board provides an excellent salary, travel allowance and subsidized staff housing.

· Letter of Application (cover letter)
· Résumé
· Current Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last six months)
· Record of qualifications and/or current proof of standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
· Names of three professional references with permission to contact, one must be the candidate’s most recent employment supervisor
