The successful candidate will lead a new department of Staff Support & Relations (formerly Human Resources) designed to support WSD staff, onboard seamlessly new staff, and engage with staff in positive ways to promote a culture of joy, love and rigour.

Position Overview
The Winnipeg School Division is seeking a dynamic, deep thinking, and compassionate leader to join our team as the Assistant Superintendent of Staff Support and Relations. This key leadership role is responsible for creating a positive, supportive, and service-based Staff Support and Relations Department. A major focus of this position is on equity and truth and reconciliation, ensuring that our practices reflect our commitment to these values. The successful candidate will build a team that is focused on supporting schools and staff through genuine engagement while recruiting and onboarding talent.
