School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for the temporary position of Early Childhood Educator for the Strong Start program at Haldane Elementary School, in Chase, BC., with the possibility of additional hours available in the preschool program, dependent on registration numbers.
This is a part-time, temporary position which will end June 25, 2026. Following successful completion of the probationary period, the incumbent will be eligible for Extended Health Benefits. At the conclusion of the temporary assignment the incumbent will be placed on the ECE relief roster with School District No. 73, and eligible to post on future positions.
Under the supervision of the Principal(s) and with general direction from the classroom teacher(s), the Early Childhood Education Worker facilitates an early childhood parent/caregiver participation program that encourages early learning and provide parental support.
