Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
- Full-time FTE will combine the following courses:
- Mechanics 10, 20, 30
- Vehicle Ownership
- Other (dependent on the successful candidates strengths/qualifications)
- Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Mechanic
- Teaching experience, specifically in the areas mentioned above
- Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and positive team member
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies and to differentiate in order to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Assessment literate
- An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
