Lakeshore School Division invites applications for both a 100% and a 50% term Speech Language Pathologist commencing as soon as possible.

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services in Lakeshore School Division. As a member of the school division, the SLP will promote prevention, early identification and efficient intervention of communication disorders. This position may require some programming with pre-school children as well as school-based programming. Travel throughout the division will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.

  • Licensure by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (CASLPM).
  • Certification by the Speech Language-Pathology and Audiology of Canada is preferred.
  • 3 years experience in the field of Speech Language Pathology is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently and/or through collaboration as required.
  • Current knowledge regarding developments in the field of Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver’s License is required.

Salary: As per MTS Collective Agreement
