
The Near North District School Board invites applications for the Elementary and Secondary Occasional Teacher Rosters for the 2022-2023 school year.
How to apply to be an Occasional Teacher
Candidates for the occasional teacher list must submit the following document through ApplytoEducation (ATE) -
- Cover Letter that includes permission to contact references;
- Resume;
- 2 professional written references;
- For new graduates please include the names of your faculty advisor and two associate teachers;
- For experienced teachers please include the names of the three most recent principals or superintendents who have witnessed you teach.
- Copy of most recent performance appraisal or practice teaching report;
- Criminal Background Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening that has been completed within the last six (6) months*
*The NNDSB requires the original Vulnerable Sector Screening on file before commencing work not at the time of interview.
Interviews for these positions will be taking place as required.
