
TEMPORARY DESIGNATED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board maintains a pool of Temporary Designated Early Childhood Educators. Candidates must be available to work on an on-call basis Monday to Friday throughout Windsor-Essex County.
Applicants must have the following requirements included in your application package:
- Two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent;
- Proof of registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators;
- Recent experience working in an Early Learning Centre, Day Care, or primary classroom setting;
- Pastoral letter of reference attesting to active participation in the Catholic Faith, (valid within the past 6 months) or Catholic Baptismal or confirmation certificate in lieu of a pastoral letter of reference. (Note: To be considered for a permanent DECE position with the Board, a current Pastoral Letter of reference will be required)
- An understanding and commitment to confidentiality;
- Valid and current CPR and First Aid Certificates;
- Bilingual (fluency in both English & French) would be an asset;
- A valid driver's license required;
