The Near North District School Board invites applications for a Home Instruction Teacher commencing immediately.

Position :

• Home Instruction Teacher

Location and Schedule:

• 5 hours/ week - in-person
• West Region

Required Teaching Qualifications:

• A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
• A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Primary and Junior and/or Intermediate and Senior Qualifications
• Special Education Specialist and/or Special Education part 1 or 2

Position Criteria:

• Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
• Program planning and delivery will include functional literacy and numeracy skills, communication, social skill development and daily living skills.
